PBS KIDS Writers Contest Happening Now Through April 30th
Winners Will Receive a Prize Pack and Be Featured on GPB’s Website
Ready, set, write! Starting January 18, GPB invites Georgia students in kindergarten through third grade to create a great story, illustrate it, and enter it in our PBS KIDS Writers Contest.
The deadline for submissions this year is April 30. Stories can be fact or fiction, poetry or prose, and will be judged on originality, creative expression, storytelling, and integration of illustrations. Winners will receive a prize pack and their stories will be featured on our gpb.org website. The contest is supported by a robust set of resources for children, families, and teachers, including activity sheets and checklists to inspire children during the brainstorming process.
