Fast-casual restaurant to open in Buford on Jan. 12 with grand opening specials and prizes, including FREE chicken salad!
Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only Southern inspired, fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, today announced it will be expanding in Gwinnett County with its newest company-owned restaurant set to open in Buford near Mall of Georgia in January. Following the brand’s debut in Snellville in December 2020, the Buford location marks Chicken Salad Chick’s second Gwinnett County location and 33rd Chicken Salad Chick overall in the state. This location is the brand’s first store to open in 2021.
Located at 3385 Woodward Crossing Blvd., Chicken Salad Chick Buford will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by brand leadership and local employees on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 9:30 a.m. with guests from the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and City of Buford. The restaurant will officially open its doors to the community at 10 a.m.
“Marking the first grand opening in the new year for the brand overall, the Buford restaurant is just the beginning of Chicken Salad Chick's continued rapid expansion in the metro-Atlanta area,” said Chicken Salad Chick President and CEO Scott Deviney. “We’re proud to bring our fan-favorite fast-casual concept to a community that is passionate about Chicken Salad Chick.”
The restaurant will also host friends & family events on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9, benefiting the food bank at North Gwinnett Co-Op. Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, first responders, local businesses, school officials and other community officials are invited to attend one of these philanthropic events. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, Chicken Salad Chick has implemented a safe procedure for guests to claim their giveaways. Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday Dec. 8, the first 100 guests to arrive and check in will be assigned a number and a designated return time between 9:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. At their designated time, guests will assume their spot in line to make a qualifying purchase – “The Chick” or a menu item of greater value. Large Quick Chick prizes will be uploaded to the winners’ Chicken Salad Chick App the following Monday. Late or missed spots will automatically be awarded to the next person in line.
The first 50 guests to arrive at 10 a.m. and at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday to order the “Chick Trio” or a menu item of greater value can claim their prize. One prize per person present.
Chicken Salad Chick offers over a dozen delicious specialty chicken salad recipes served from the heart. In addition to the restaurant’s signature chicken salad flavors, other menu items include fresh salads, sides, soups and full-service catering, all available from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
