The Y is working hard to finalize all the details about our virtual school support program. We look forward to connecting your kids with learning in a fun environment!
Open to students in Kindergarten through sixth grade, our in-person program will support children in completing their online learning while also keeping them active and enjoying fun activities throughout the day, and after their virtual school day is complete.
Available at Y locations throughout metro Atlanta, the program begins at 8 am and ends at 4 pm, with before and after care available from 7 am to 6:30 pm with no additional cost to the families.
Y staff will assist students with logging on and connecting to their school programs using their own laptop or device, assist with questions during remote learning, and help to keep students on track as they connect with their teachers online. We are here to support your family as you navigate remote learning this fall.
The Y will adhere with the health and safety protocols we have developed over the past several months, inlcuding daily pre-screening questionarres and temperature checks, small groups with a 1:9 staff to student ratio, social distancing, daily deep cleaning, and required mask wearing by all participants and staff.
