Live Healthy Gwinnett, Gwinnett Health and Human Services, Gwinnett Parks and Recreation, UGA Extension Gwinnett, City of Lawrenceville, and various other organizations partnered up to offer the community a garden at Rhodes Jordan Park. Plots are assigned on a first come first served basis, the fees are $35 per year ending March 31st, 2021.
A few things to mention:
- Only chemicals on an approved list can be used
- To keep the community areas clean, gardeners must do 12 hours of community service
- Plots must be kept neat, attractive, cared for appearance required
- Do not plant illegal or poisonous plants
- Harvest only from your own plot
