I got the opportunity to attend the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series event recently at the Infinite Energy Arena. From racing to wheelies, to freestyle and more, these drivers clearly can show that they are more than a triple threat!
Prior to going to the Infinite Energy Arena, I kept wondering how on earth the venue was going to transform a Monster Jam haven to pull off all the stunts they do. Mind you, my previous experience at a Monster Jam was in a much bigger venue. So naturally, the first thing I wanted to observe was the set-up for this rip-roaring event. I saw one obstacle hill in the middle of the arena and I thought to myself, "This is going to be tight to do stunts in here." Monster trucks were parked on two opposite sides bordering the venue's walls. The show started and I was not disappointed. Even with the tight space, the stunts kept me at the edge of my seat. If you don’t believe me, just look at the pictures my hubby took. My heart was coming out my chest the whole time. I honestly think I was making everyone crack up with all my screams and reactions. Can you tell I am going to do so well teaching my kids to drive? Ha ha ha
Monster Jam events never disappoint. Apart from showing off the monster trucks, the drivers also showed their skills on Speedsters and ATV's. It was incredible. The ultimate triple threat! The topping on the cake is that everyone in the audience gets to vote for the best driver that night. For this particular night, the winner received an automatic tender to the Monster Jam World Finals to compete for the title of World Champion. How cool is that? Sadly, Toro Loco did not win that night. But, all the drivers are exceptional. I wish them all good luck.
In the end, my family and I really enjoyed ourselves and I urge you guys to check them out sometime. It will create some fun memories! Oh, and one more thing . . . please don't forget to bring soundproof headphones or earplugs. Smaller stadium, bigger the noise.
