Hi Readers! Here's the scoop on the new local attraction Urban Air of Lawrenceville/Snellvillle. Urban Air is jam-packed with so many attractions, there's no time to sit down. In fact, there are over 11 attractions rolled under one roof. Also worth noting that everything was nicely spaced out and organized. Here's a quick rundown of the attractions:
- Sky Rider Coaster - The ride closely resembles zip-lining along with holding onto to two ropes for balance and your knees are up. The ride gives you the opportunity to jump off 2 times. It was quite fun!
- Ropes Course - After riding the coaster, we still had our harness on. So, we headed next door to the Ropes Course. The kids took about 20 minutes and they loved it.
- Go-Karts - Oh my goodness! I definitely caught air with this one! This is a 5-minute attraction and it goes fast. The best part is if a rider gets stuck or needs help (which will happen almost every time), the timer stops until we can resume the racing. No time is lost! I felt like I was in a roller coaster!
- Trampoline Park - There are 7 different trampoline attractions. Wipe-Out, Basketball, Dodgeball, Free Style Jump, Jump Track, Gravity Zone (Extra springy w/a challenge), Drop Zone (jump and fall onto a springy pad)
- Warrior Course - My pudgy self couldn't get on the course, but my kids tried. They said it was pretty challenging. If you like a challenge, go for it!
- Battle Beam - Just like our tour guide said, "Get your frustrations out" and battle it out on a beam with a friend. I loved it! The not so fun part was trying to climb out of the foam pit. Whew! It was exhausting. Ha ha!
- Tubes/Indoor Playground - For kids under 7 years of age, they can enjoy the slides and other obstacles.
- Leap of Faith - With harness assist, you climb up a tower and jump to try to get a hold of a weighted bag. If you miss, you are safely put down on the ground. It's thrilling if you are afraid of heights.
- Indoor Skydiving - Can't say I tried it because it was closed that day. But, seriously......it's an experience not to miss. Ages 3 and up can participate.
- Climbing Walls - There are 4 different climbing walls to test. Which one will you try? In this section, there is also a climbing attraction. All of these challenges are harness assisted.
- Virtual Reality - Strap on a headset and battle with your friends on this virtual reality adventure.
Considering all you are getting under one establishment, I would say it is totally worth the price. I am definitely coming back to Urban Air for a special night out. Readers, this is great for all ages. Be sure to visit Urban Air soon.
