The park spotlight for this month is Little Mulberry Park – Fence Road Entrance. It’s nice to get in touch with nature and this park delivers just that. Its soft, paved and handicapped trail options are perfect for all those who are looking to exercise, bike or walk the fur babies 😊. The trails connect to three other entrances for this massive 892-acre park. For this entrance, I would like to highlight the trail around the lake because it’s a short trail (especially with kids in tow) and you can stop at the fishing dock to watch people fish. A pavilion is nicely situated facing the lake and there are swinging benches around the trail if you fancy nature watching or just a quick rest. The park has a nice mulched playground with plenty of space to sit. It doesn’t have a pavilion facing it, but it has plenty of picnic tables. Also,There is an additional pavilion located just at the entrance and adjacent to the restrooms.
I love this park because it has a little bit of everything. Nature is good for the soul and so are those big trees that provide the perfect shade on those sunny days. That’s my kind of park. Stay tuned for reviews on some of the other entrances for this park.
