REVIEW: The Chattanoogan Spa at The Chattanoogan Hotel

Places to relax in Chattanooga

April 20, 2015

The next morning I headed to the second floor and indulged in a relaxing Chattanoogan Signature Massage at The Chattanoogan Spa.  The overall Spa's ambiance is, relaxing, clean and quite tranquil to say the least. I haven't had mommy time in a while, so I totally took it all in, sauna and all! I was escorted to the locker room to change into a robe a spa slippers and then directed to head back into the waiting area for my therapist. There, they had a snack mix and fruit infused water. After my therapist greeted me we headed to the room, which was so relaxing with the relaxing music and dimmed lights. The signature massage comes with the use of aromatherapy, which adds so much to the experience. My massage was wonderful. The flow and pressure was awesome. As a former massage therapist I feel like I can expertly say that the spa staff was excellent. They were inviting, kept the place serene and very knowledgeable about their craft. After my massage was over I jumped into the sauna for a few more relaxing minutes before I headed back to mommy duty. They had a select amount of products for purchase as you check out. For the most part, the products sold were all handmade and pretty local, either being from Tennessee, Georgia, and a few other states as well that aren't too far. That I love about this place, so many things are sourced locally. The Chattangoogan Spa's hour are; Sunday 9am – 5pm, Monday – Thursday 10am – 7pm, and Friday – Saturday 9am – 8pm.
