But anything that involves even the word sugar is good in my book.
That's why we're participating in Sugar Hill's Sugar Rush on October 15th!
I'm so excited!! I've been getting ready for it everyday.
Sugar; breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Okay, that may not be completely true, I also snack.
But seriously, my son and I have been "training" for 5K's and are so excited to this one! What's even more exciting, is that they have a festival afterward! Pumpkin painting, vendors, car shows and concerts! It's going to be a great day! The entire event (including the race) is from 8am-7pm.
Certainly they'll have sugary treats.

The City of Sugar Hill is sponsoring the event in a big way! They're pitching in all of the cost difference for race shirts...so the entry fee is discounted by $5-$15.
Entry through September 15th is just $15, and $25 afterwards...and that includes an awesome long sleeve cotton shirt.
Race day registration is also available for $5 additional.
All participants registered by 10/9 are guaranteed a shirt in their size, and all registrations afterwards will receive a shirt while supplies last.

October 15 07:30 AM EDT - Race Day Registration and Check in Opens

- Great course that takes runners out to Peachtree Industrial with plenty of flat sections, and 1 hill on the return.
- We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to get a great accurate time.
- All participants registered by 10/9 are guaranteed a great long sleeve race shirt in their size. We'll have some extras…but we can't guarantee reciept or size after 10/9. Awards to the Overall Male & Female, Overall Masters Male & Female, as well as the Top 3 in each of the regular 5 year age groups (10 & Under to 75+)
